Returns & Refunds Policy

As Belle's Books primarily sells secondhand books, all books are sold in their stated condition. We therefore do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, books ordered incorrectly, or minor signs of wear that are consistent with a secondhand book and its advertised condition.

Please ensure that you have selected your books carefully before completing your purchase. We do our best to accurately describe and represent the condition of our secondhand books.

If you have any questions regarding a book, edition, condition, or other product details, please contact us before placing your order. We are happy to assist you before you make your purchase.

If you receive a book that is damaged beyond its advertised condition, defective, or different from the item you ordered, please contact us immediately upon receiving your order at 061 536 7637 or books@bellesbooks.co.za. Please provide your order number, together with clear photographs of the book, packaging, and any visible damage, so that we can assess the issue.

If damage occurred during courier transit, please notify us immediately upon delivery so that the matter can be raised with the courier. We will work with you and the courier to assist in resolving the issue.

Where an item qualifies for a return, replacement, or refund under applicable South African consumer law, Belle's Books will handle the matter accordingly.
